Sarah has me eating things I don’t even like, and loving them. I don’t like potato salad but after one taste heaped that irresistible salad made with potatoes on my plate. I don’t like chocolate or dessert but just ate that entire chocolate mousse dessert and am eyeing a second. And on and on. She has catered a numerous events I have been involved in, I have learned to try everything she puts out and haven’t tasted anything yet that wasn’t delicious. She also adds little niceties and extras, and is super pleasant to be around. The guests love her and her staff and her food.

Sarah Knecht prepared food for our wedding in the beautiful Paradise Valley. Working with chef Knecht was a much more creative, interactive experience than we thought possible. Together, we bounced ideas off each other and developed a unique menu that honored our tastes and the amazing food that Montana and Alaska provide. And, she definitely delivered on the day of the wedding. The serving stations were beautifully laid out, and guests were eagerly awaiting seconds. After the wedding numerous guests commented on how amazing the food was and how unique the dishes were. We were delighted to have such an amazing spread of Spanish-inspired plates to compliment our day…it seemed so fitting! We can give nothing but the highest praise and recommendation for chef Knecht for any event, large or small.

Sarah’s knowledge and pairing of food is impeccable… Her presentation is creative and fun. She has always accommodated our wishes and is a true pleasure to work with.

You have been a life saver to me many times. There is no way I can manage my family and run my business, and then come home to entertain my clients and friends. There have been so many times when I’ve wanted to entertain at home rather than dining out, and you always make this happen. Working with you is very easy because you have such a great attitude, the food is always superb because you are passionate about what your do, and my guests always enjoy your presence because you are a terrific person. I don’t know what I would do without you!

It has been pure pleasure to work with Chef Sarah Knecht. Her meals are those foods you have always loved, with a uniquely joyful culinary twist. It’s the high quality, fresh and local ingredients and the care in preparing them – and the love that she has for what she does, that make her dishes so special. One thing we especially appreciate is that the portions are realistic – not too little or too much. Our goal each summer is to provide our guests with a Montana experience – slow down the pace, breathe that impossibly fresh air, drink in the view. And our guests, many of whom are visiting Montana for the first time, agree that the food matches the scenery – and that’s saying something.

Chef Sarah has been submitting articles for Hyalite Publishing Co. over the past year and her attention to detail while still managing to have fun has been a true treat. Sarah provides wonderful ideas on everything from hosting parties to simple family dinners. I’ve used several of her ideas, such as how children can help out in the kitchen and even tried her “Seriously Mac and Cheese” recipe. Seriously delicious!! We have enjoyed working with Chef Sarah and can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!

From the beginning stages of planning our menu to the end of our evening, I can’t put into words how fabulous Sarah was to work with. She is very professional, flexible and such a pleasure to have cater your event. She stays relaxed and helps the evening run smoothly. And did I mention the food is delicious! We have guests that travel all over to banquets and catered events and they tell us time and again how AMAZING the meal is at our banquet. I write this review on one condition, per my husband…. Sarah, send some Seriously Mac &Cheese, please. (Good thing I bought her new cookbook!) Chef Sarah assisted with planning our annual employee Christmas Party for a large group of hungry railroaders. She was able create a hearty menu within the budget allotted and ensure food was plentiful (and delicious!). Not a light task, as the final guest count kept escalating! Along with being pleasurable to work with; Sarah is very confident and professional in her planning process, which leads to a successful event! I purchased Sarah’s new cookbook, hot off the press in December. I love all of the personal touches added throughout, along with the “Yumtwist” variations offered. This book is very creative and well put together; I am excited to add it to my collection! As a dedicated recipe follower, I am looking forward to “stepping out of my box” and “Yumtwist” it up a bit! Because of our own passion for cooking and love of delicious food, Sarah Knecht was the natural choice to include in our wedding celebration. Upon our initial meeting, she took our ideas and created a menu that was a masterpiece for all to enjoy - and still, months later, when our family and friends talk about our wedding day, they almost always mention, over and over again, how wonderful the food was.
